Hi,  I am Jack

I am also the total work force behind DateCents.com and I wish to welcome you to a place where singles meet.

This is my first venture into building and being the web master to a dating reviews site, in fact I have never appeared from this side of a computer screen before.  However,  I am pleased to be here on this side of the computer screen and I want to invite you to use the contact us page to drop in and to say hello to me.

Now,  Let me briefly tell you a little bit of my history..

I was born in Toronto Canada,  and while growing up I had a deep interest in the Navy,  so as a young teenager,  like around 14 years old,  I became a cadet and up to the age of 16 I was learning to be a sailor.

Well,  in a twist of fate, three friends of mine wanted to join the army and so at 17 years old I joined the Canadian Army with them…

Soon I found myself in basic training grunting to become a soldier in the infantry.  The picture at left was taken many years later while serving in Cyprus with the UN.  My first infantry regiment was The Canadian Guards and 8 years later my second infantry Regiment was The PPCLI.  To me the army was family, and the Guards and the Pat’s  were sort of like parents who strives to shaped us  (I believe) into honorable soldiers,  and to be good citizens of the world and as you probably have sensed I share a deep pride in both those regiments.

Again another twist of fate.. I became a gentleman in The Royal Canadian Air Force. The term gentleman is often used when soldiers are talking about airmen mainly because of the lifestyle airmen enjoyed over a soldiers life in the field.

As you can see from my smile in the picture at right the Air Force was really taking pretty good care in looking  after me. They accepted me and took me into their bond,  taught me a trade and their treatment of me was superb.

These were great years. In three uniforms, 3 years as a cadet and another 27 years of active military service. Now I am Military Retired.

Whew!

Fate hit again,  I found myself working as a aircraft mechanic with Air Canada and they liked me so much they kept me on the pay roll for twenty years.

Hey! Are you adding up all my years and guessing what my age is????

Wouldn’t you believe it, fate is back..

Dating site reviews is what I will be doing from now on.  The Personals,  Matchmaking,  and Dating,  these have all been of an interest to me since 1989 and have been part of my thoughts for over 21 years.

We will make a place “Where Singles Meet”, and we will endeavor to bring singles together in friendships,  in partnerships,  companionship’s,  and some even into marriage. I say WE here because it will take YOU and I.

I’d like to hear your success stories and would like to publish them with permission from you of course, and finally I would be very pleased to hear from you.
